Jill

Jill,
DPT

I completed my undergraduate at the University of Illinois in Kinesiology, then received my Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Des Moines University. I like treating shoulder pathologies because there are a variety of treatment strategies based on the patient’s limitations. The shoulder complex encompasses many joints that serve as the connecting points of the upper appendage to the torso – I think that’s so cool. Also, helping patients regain pain-free usage of their arms is very rewarding. I also enjoy treating neck pain/headaches, pelvic floor dysfunction, and ankle/foot pathologies.

First and foremost, I love working with people. I love learning their stories, history, passions, and how they came to be sitting in front of me. It’s a profession that allows me to directly implement my love of sports & wellness into a career where I work with people, and help them achieve their goals and return to the activities they love.

When I’m not working, I take so much pride in being “Auntie Joel”. I love hanging out with my sisters and their babies, my parents, my Grandpa Ted. Really my whole family – we have fun together. I love to travel and experience new places, find new ways to stay active (HIIT, yoga, cycling, hiking), snacks, reading, and the occasional Netflix binge.
